Good morning to all my lovely readers and happy Friday. I hope everyone has some awesome weekend plans. I can’t believe we are in our last month of Summer vacation from school. I’ve been reading on some other posts on how their kids go back next week or started back this week, all I can say is wow. My kids sure are lucky, they don’t have to go back until September 8th. So they better enjoy this nice Minnesota weather we have been having because in about 10 weeks we will be complaining about how cold it is and the snow will start flying.  Continue reading

Happy hump day friends! I hope your week is going nicely. I have a nice cranky almost 2-year-old today who didn’t sleep so my day is lovely. Oh the joys of motherhood I tell ya, one day at a time! This is my favorite age, but yet also my least favorite age. They are learning so much and showing us that but at the same time they are gaining their independence and with that comes tantrums. My daughters new word is “no.” She absolutely loves saying it, although it is absolutely adorable, she uses it to reply to anything my husband or I ask her. It gets quite frustrating at times because we don’t really know if she means it, or if she just chooses to say it.  Continue reading

Is it Friday yet? This week has already been packed with lots to do. Baseball seems like it consumes my life these days. With 3 boys, they live and breathe sports. Little League this year has been fun. My oldest is on a traveling team and then another separate team. The middle one gets to play one game this coming Monday and the youngest just had practices since he is just learning the fundamentals. Soon enough we will be onto the next sport.  Continue reading

Hey all! I’m on vacation! Whoop, I will be back Sunday so in the mean time I have my friend and former co-worker Eston guest posting for me for the next two days. He is an awesome cook and it was fun getting to cook with him when we worked together not too long ago. He is going with a bourbon theme! Who doesn’t like booze and food huh? Hope you all enjoy! Do you know what I consider the hardest part about blogging apart from getting your content read? Choosing font for your pictures. Seriously, every time I edit a picture i spend so much time going through different fonts and colors and sizes and positions. It takes more time deciding that them writing my post all together. For this post I got frustrated and kinda said the heck with it and threw one on there. TA-DA!  Continue reading

Friday! Gateway to the weekend! So excited. I would be more excited if I actually got to sleep in tomorrow but alas, I cannot. Like mentioned before we are having our garage sale tomorrow. I think I’m prepared, maybe. Hopefully it is a success. I’m kind of just winging it. Got myself a little help here and there from Pinterest. Plus my lovely mother is coming over tonight and Saturday to help me, much to her chagrin. Continue reading

Cheesy Scalloped Fries

Cheesy Scalloped Fries

Well yesterday kicked off the first real week of summer vacation. It also kicked off me starting my summer daycare. Luckily as of yesterday all of our yard work is complete and the hazard area should hopefully be completely eliminated. Do you know what its like to have to make sure your kids don’t go in certain areas in your yard because of work being done? Especially when you are trying to do daycare, yeah it sucks.  Continue reading

Is anyone else as happy as I am that summer is nearing? This is my most favorite time of year. I live in Minnesota and the majority of our year is spent in the cold weather. Heck, just the other day it was 40 degrees out and now today its 75. Mother nature here just cannot make up her mind. I can in all honestly say that after my kids grow up and start their lives I am going to be a snow bird. Continue reading
